Our values are not just words on a sign, but powerful actions that shape the way we show up every single day. For Lourdes Arcas Rivas, our Senior Customer Experience Administrator, these values shape her role as the voice of customer experience in Spain.
Because of the empowerment and insight of her leaders, Lourdes’ leaders encouraged and empowered her to focus on customers, an area that allowed her to lean on her strengths. Lourdes chooses to stretch for the limit by taking initiative and working across departments to develop her role into a key customer-facing position. Lourdes has managed relationships with high-profile accounts and focused on adapting our processes to win with customers. Since her efforts are collaborative between all teams, she leans on the true meaning of One Novanta: connecting with our global team through shared values and culture. She takes pride in planting “small seeds” that make a difference, such as encouraging quarterly team-building and remote work advocacy.
Beyond her role, Lourdes also serves as the communications coordinator for the Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) in Europe, providing connection among the women in our community. Each month, this group meets to share stories and support each other, which in turn strengthens our culture and feeds healthy collaboration.
