All personal data collected and processed within the scope of an application are protected against unauthorized access and manipulation by technical and organizational measures. The data and documents made available to Novanta in connection with your application are automatically collected, stored, and used by our human resources department solely for that purpose. Personal data consists of data collected, stored, transferred, and processed in connection with your name. We will store your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or as long as required by law, regularly, this will be a period of six months. Novanta does not share the collected data with third parties, in particular, this data will not be sold, leased, or exchanged.
Rights of the data subject: Information, correction, deletion, and blocking, right of objection
In accordance with § 15 DSGVO, you are entitled at any time to ask Novanta for comprehensive information on the personal data stored about you.
According to § 17 DSGVO you can request Novanta to correct, delete and block individual personal data at any time.
You can also exercise your right to object at any time without giving reasons and change or completely revoke the declaration of consent with effect for the future. You can send the revocation either by mail or fax to Novanta. You will not incur any costs other than the postage costs or the shipping costs according to the existing basic rates.
Supplemental Privacy Notice for California Applicants
This Supplemental Privacy Notice for California Residents (“California Notice”) supplements the information contained above and applies solely to applicants who reside in California. As required by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, the “CCPA”), this California Notice is intended to provide certain disclosures about our handling of California applicant’s personal information and provide additional information regarding the rights that California applicants have with respect to their personal information.
