The optoelectronics market is not slowing down. It is accelerating, and the signals were clear at Laser Shanghai 2026

Laser World of Photonics Shanghai 2026 continues to serve as a key gathering point for the global optoelectronics industry. This year’s event brought together nearly 1,500 companies and more than 58,000 visitors, highlighting both the scale of the market and its continued growth.

At the exhibition, we connected with customers and partners from across China and around the world, including increased participation from Japan, South Korea, India, Europe, and the Middle East. These interactions reflect the global nature of innovation and the importance of collaboration in advancing next-generation technologies.

A key highlight was the continued expansion of our local manufacturing capabilities in China. Our Ti series lasers are now in production at our Suzhou facility, with additional local production planned. This investment allows us to deliver faster, improve responsiveness, and provide stronger support to customers operating in the region.

We also showcased a broad portfolio of solutions designed to support high-performance applications. Our beam steering technologies, including MOVIA, VERSIA, Lightning II, and Precession Elephant III scan heads, enable precision across a wide range of use cases, from marking and precision manufacturing to microscopy and medical research

In addition, our latest solid-state laser innovation, the GEM ultra, was demonstrated at the event. Built with patented ULTRALOQ technology, it delivers high reliability and stable performance for demanding applications such as wafer inspection, particle counting, and metrology.

As industries continue to evolve, the need for precision, speed, and reliability is only increasing. By combining innovation with local capability and strong customer partnerships, we are well positioned to support that growth.

While Laser Shanghai 2026 has concluded, our work with customers continues. We remain focused on delivering solutions that help them move faster so that they can operate more efficiently, and we can unlock new possibilities.
