On July 1 in Syracuse, New York, temperatures climbed to extreme levels, with heat index values reaching between 100°F and 110°F. Under these challenging conditions, even a short step outside required determination.
At our site in Syracuse, the team found a refreshing and memorable way to take a break from the heat, welcoming a local ice cream truck on-site.
For a brief moment in an otherwise intense day, employees traded the heat for something cool and enjoyable. The menu offered something for everyone, from nostalgic ice cream novelties to sundaes and even ice cream nachos, quickly becoming a crowd favorite.

More than just a treat, the visit created an opportunity for connection. Colleagues gathered and took a well-earned pause together, demonstrating that even small moments can have a meaningful impact on employee experience and workplace culture.
With the Fourth of July holiday weekend approaching, the timing felt especially fitting. It was a chance to slow down and enjoy a classic summer tradition.
Moments like these reflect our commitment to creating an environment where our teams feel valued and connected, even during the hottest days of the year.
