Some of the most significant accomplishments within an organization are not always visible to customers, but they have a lasting impact on how effectively we serve them.

That is exactly how I view the successful completion of our Langfang enterprise resource rlanning (ERP) migration project.

Over the course of just five months, employees across multiple functions and locations worked together to transition the site in Langfang, China, from a standalone ERP environment to the platform used by our site in Suzhou, China. While the project delivered important technology and process improvements, what impressed me most was the collaboration and dedication displayed throughout the journey.

The migration became necessary following the Apex site’s transition. Rather than maintaining a separate ERP environment in Langfang, we saw an opportunity to align systems and standardize business processes to strengthen operational integration across our regional manufacturing network.

Projects of this nature are never solely about technology. They are about people coming together to solve problems and manage complexity, creating better outcomes for the business and for customers.

The success of this initiative was made possible through strong leadership from project sponsors David Zhao and Stella Lin, as well as the contributions of Jane Dong, Grace Mao, Lisa Wang, Madge Wang, Sally Li, Billy Meng, Solomon Xu, Ryan Wang, Luke Zhou, and many employees across Commercial, Operations, IT, and Finance. The close partnership between the Langfang and Suzhou teams played a critical role in keeping the project on track and ensuring a successful outcome.

What makes this achievement particularly meaningful is that we accomplished it while maintaining business continuity. Despite the complexity of the migration, production operations remained stable, and customers experienced no supply disruptions. Delivering a major system transformation without interrupting manufacturing or customer service requires careful planning and a shared commitment to excellence.

As an HR leader, I view this project as a powerful example of what can happen when employees unite around a common purpose. Teams shared knowledge and supported one another, working across organizational boundaries to achieve a result that benefits the entire business.

The migration has created a stronger operational foundation by improving consistency, increasing visibility across processes, and enhancing collaboration between sites. More importantly, it has reinforced a culture of teamwork and shared success that will continue to serve us well in the future.

This accomplishment reflects the best of who we are: employees working together and delivering results that create value for customers and stakeholders.

I want to thank everyone who contributed to this success. Your hard work and commitment made this milestone possible, and I look forward to seeing what we accomplish together next.
