Humanoid robotics is no longer a distant vision. It’s emerging right now, fueled by breakthroughs in motion control, intelligent sensing, and physical AI. At Novanta, we’re at the center of this acceleration, and this year, we had the distinct honor of sponsoring the Humanoid Robotics Industry Awards, recognizing the innovators shaping what’s next.

The 2025 winners highlight rapid progress in dexterity, mobility, perception, and real-world deployment. These advances require enabling technologies that deliver precision, reliability, and safety at scale – exactly where our Robotics and Automation teams excel.

The event’s congratulatory video features Jason Lund, President & General Manager of our Robotics and Automation business, reinforcing why this space matters to Novanta and our customers. His message underscores our belief that humanoid robotics will transform industries – from logistics to healthcare to manufacturing – and that advancing this technology requires deep collaboration, engineering rigor, and long-term thinking.

2025 Award Winners

Here are the winners in each category of the Awards:

  • Industry Leadership: Jérôme Monceaux, Co-Founder & CEO, Enchanted Tools, championing humanoid robots with emotional intelligence and commercial viability.
  • Outstanding Company: NEURA Robotics (Germany), developing the 4NE1 humanoid robot and a scalable ecosystem (“Neuraverse”) for physical AI.
  • Groundbreaking Technology: Wandercraft – Calvin-40 – a human-scale, voice-operated humanoid built for industrial tasks with advanced sensing and safety systems.
  • Best Use of AI: Macco Robotics – their humanoid “KIME” bartender uses computer vision, facial recognition, and AI-driven service to deliver a cutting-edge customer experience.

Supporting the HRT Awards is one more way we champion innovation in the broader ecosystem. Together, we’re shaping a future where intelligent machines safely extend human capability and unlock new possibilities for customers.
