At our Langfang, China, facility, we believe safety is not just a priority. It is a capability that we actively build.
On April 17, we conducted a focused first aid training session to strengthen our team’s ability to respond to medical emergencies in the workplace. The training centered on real-world scenarios, including sudden cardiac events, where immediate action can make a critical difference.
Employees learned and practiced essential techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and artificial respiration. The session emphasized rapid assessment, proper response steps, and the importance of acting within the most opportune time to improve outcomes.
What set this training apart was its hands-on approach. Participants practiced key techniques, including the correct compression-to-ventilation ratio and proper positioning, ensuring they could apply these skills with confidence in a real situation.
Beyond the technical skills, the training reinforced a broader commitment. We are building a culture where employees are prepared to support one another, not only in their roles, but in moments that truly matter.
By continuing to invest in practical safety training, we strengthen our ability to protect our employees and create a more resilient workplace. This is how we bring One Novanta to life, through shared responsibility and preparedness.
