Recently, our CEO had the opportunity to visit our El Monte, California, site, where we manufacture strain gauges and force-torque sensors. The visit reinforced something we believe strongly: Innovation doesn’t end when we design a product. Real impact comes when we can scale that innovation.
Our force-torque sensors are enabling some of the most exciting applications in robotics today, including humanoid robots, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and advanced automation. These technologies allow robots to better understand and interact with the physical world through highly precise force and touch sensing.
After several years of planning and execution, we’ve successfully completed the first phase of automation and validated the next phase, creating a strong foundation for future growth.
Scaling manufacturing is a critical part of our strategy. It enables us to increase capacity, improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining the precision and quality our customers expect.
As physical AI continues to accelerate, technologies like these will play an increasingly important role in making robots more capable, adaptable and safe.
None of this happens without exceptional teamwork. The progress we’re seeing in El Monte reflects the collaboration of employees across operations, engineering and manufacturing who have worked together to turn a long-term vision into reality.
