Novanta announces the planned end-of-life (EOL) for the Ventus® laser platform, as part of our ongoing efforts to simplify our portfolio and align customers with higher-performance, next-generation solutions.
Product Transition Overview
The Ventus platform, historically serving academic and select OEM applications, will be retired and replaced by our GEM and GEMultra™ laser platforms, which deliver improved performance, reliability, and long-term availability.
Customers are encouraged to evaluate and transition to these recommended alternatives to ensure continuity of supply and access to enhanced capabilities.

This notification applies to all Ventus laser models and configurations, including 532 nm, 561 nm, 660 nm, and 671 nm variants and associated part numbers.

These platforms offer direct replacement pathways with improved system performance and reliability, while maintaining compatibility for a wide range of applications.
