Overview

Features & Benefits

  • Low turbine air consumption using industry standard air pressure for economic operation
  • Suitable for robotic arm applications due to low mass and small footprint
  • High reliability, minimizing down time costs
  • Long product life due to non-contacting air bearing design and resistance to intake of external contaminants
  • Suitable for water-borne and solvent-based applications
  • Efficient turbine design provides fast acceleration and braking for maximum productivity
  • Improved atomization due to higher shaft speed.

The D1724 is a compact turbine-driven rotary atomizer with a maximum speed of 70,000rpm and capable of driving bell cups of up to 70mm diameter. Due to its very compact size, it is ideally suited for use in robotic arm spray booth applications and can incorporate electrostatic internally or externally charged bell cup systems.

The shaft nose is suitable for external or internal taper bell cups. Designed for automotive coating applications, the spindle is fitted with a high-efficiency turbine, shaft grounding brushes, integrated shaping air ports and provision for an optical speed sensor system.
