Celera Motion is pleased to announce that the Safe Torque Off (STO) feature of the Ingenia Everest XCR servo drive has been officially certified by TÜV Rheinland. The certification process has been followed for several months and has concluded with a positive result. The Everest NET and Everest CORE (EVE-NET, EVE-CORE) will soon be included in the same functional safety certificate, and STO will be valid for the complete Everest Series product family.
This important achievement for the Ingenia Summit drives has a relevant impact for surgical robotics, collaborative robots, AGVs, exoskeletons and satcom OEMs that were expecting this certification to provide their Everest based applications the extra safety compliance.
