Robust Angular Position Measurement in a Lightweight Unpackaged Design
IncOders are non-contact devices for precision angle measurement. IncOder CORE does away with the machined aluminium IncOder housing, enabling an ultra lightweight design, reducing system weight and maximizing sensor integration within the end application.
Utilizing the same robust patented sensor technology as IncOder – IncOder CORE are ideally suited to harsh environments, delivering a precise measurement with up to 20 bits resolution.

Compact Bearingless Form Factor
IncOder CORE contains 2 main parts – a Stator and a Rotor – each shaped like a flat ring. The large bore makes it easy to accommodate through-shafts, optical-fibres, or cables.
IncOder CORE is available in compact sizes – 44mm and 70mm Outer Diameter – both featuring a large thru-bore and stacked stator design. Each sensor features mechanical mounting features within the PCB simplifying installation and integration.

Economically Priced for Large Volume Production
Novanta recognizes the need for customers to meet component cost targets, particularly when applications are scaling to significant production volumes. IncOder CORE provides an avenue for selecting an extremely robust absolute inductive angle sensor in an economically priced package.
