Seamless Connectivity & Deployment
Built on top of the successful Aura Optical Encoder Series, Aura P adds an interface layer for quick installation and deployment. This extension offers a connectivity-ready, high-resolution absolute encoder in a super-compact PCBA package. By integrating the sensor into a ready-to-use OEM PCB, it reduces cabling complexity and overall development time. Configured with a high-speed BiSS-C interface, it delivers the minimal latency required for the high-bandwidth control loops found in surgical robotics and high-volume OEM applications.
Advanced Motion Precision
Maintaining its reputation for high accuracy and wide alignment tolerances, the Aura P series achieves 18-to 22-bit resolution with an accuracy of up to ±0.005° for rotary scales and ±2.0 μm for linear applications. It utilizes PurePrecision™ optics and short-wavelength LEDs to ensure exceptional repeatability. To further enhance production efficiency, the series features a built-in eccentricity compensation algorithm that eliminates the need for a second averaging encoder, significantly reducing system cost and complexity.
